Dr. John Wales is a recently retired senior lecturer and consultant physician, based in Leeds in UK . He was (and is) a highly respected and very distinguished UK diabetes specialist. He is highly regarded as an expert and committed clinical consultant and has provided a first class service for his patients. In addition he has a distinguished academic career and has produced many important research publications, mainly in the field of diabetes.
Dr. Wales has also made a substantial contribution to the development of national diabetes services in the UK . He was co-founder and the first chairman of the Association of British Clinical Diabetologists, which is now the leading professional organization for consultant and registrar specialist diabetologists in the UK . The successful growth of the Association is due, in no small measure, to Dr. Wales' vision and commitment. |
