Professor Li Shiming, the Director of Department of Diabetes Foot Disease and former Chairman of the Diabetes Center of General Hospital of the Air Force of the Chinese PLA, is a renowned diabetes foot disease specialist internationally. According to pathogenic treatment theory and under his guidance, the diabetes foot disease management in this department includes diabetes control, anti infection, circulation and microcirculation improvement, which aims to reduce amputation and amend the quality of patient's life. Combining with western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine, patients take the oral, intravascular treatment and simultaneously receive the surgical treatment for necrosis foot.
