Department of Neurology investigates diabetic patients with complications of the nervous system. The Department diagnoses and treats cerebral vessel disease, and cerebral embolism and provides rehabilitation, to a high level. Acute cerebral vessel disease, brain arteriosclerosis, impairment of cerebral blood supply, Parkinson's disease and peripheral neuropathy caused by diabetes or other conditions are managed by senior doctors. A spiral computerized tomography head scanner, a transcranial color Doppler, and instruments for neuro-electro-physiologic examination and examination of the microcirculation, are available for the diagnosis and treatment of these patients.
